You're Gonna Love Me
Four days from now I will be free from the Georgia Department of Corrections' confinement for two months exactly, and even as a rich man who's living as one who is poor--which is actually a very interesting experience--life has been much more fulfilling than I could have expected, even with no sex included. There's no doubt, it's just foolish as hell to take anything in life for granted. No, tomorrow's never promised, nor is it guaranteed that people who know who you are and exactly what you've been doing will acknowledge you and treat you like you're worthy of love. Yeah, you know who you are and what you're worth, but when others don't express their love in the way you expect, what are you going to do? Me? I'm going to fight for it.
Do I want to be loved by my own as well as complete strangers? Probably even more than I'd like to make love to Sandra Bullock. Why? Because just like everyone else on earth who considers it properly... it just feels good. It's a most pleasurable feeling. It's even like the "sustenance of God". No one feels truly complete if, for whatever reason, they go too long without experiencing a sense of belonging, because we're just supposed to belong. None of us were designed by God's mighty, creative hand to be alone. In the book of Proverbs, the Bible even speaks against one who isolates himself--and certainly, according to the book of Genesis, no man like Christian McCoy was designed to be without a woman.
So ladies and gentlemen, this ole Christ-like man, born way back in 1982 is still fighting for your love. Some of you know I've been messing up my whole life, but I still believe you also know I'm yet very much worth every bit of love you're willing to give. So let's have it. You'll see I've got plenty to offer you, because that's my means of fighting. Yep, that's right. I'm just going to love you like crazy until you love me back. Then, I'm just going to love you some more, until you finally realize you're in love with me and that we'll be together "until death due us part".
Now that you know my plan, there's no need for you to anticipate any surprises. Will you marry me?
